Caroline
is a writer, teacher and performer. She has done stand-up and improv
comedy, and has played everything from angry Shakespearean women to
crazy Durangian brides (at the Loeb Experimental Theatre and at
Stanford University). Her work also has been heard on National Public
Radio and seen on the small screen, most memorably in an ABC
Afterschool Special where she got to be frozen in time with bad '80's
hair, holding a cafeteria tray and spewing the line, "What you did
threw off the curve!" In her other life, she teaches 17th-century
literature and culture and writes about early modern
women and science.
